Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (English: The One with Strong Arms: The Conclusion), also known by the initialism BB2, is a 2017 Indian historical fiction film co-written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli.[6] The film was produced by Tollywood studio Arka Media Works. It is the continuation of Baahubali: The Beginning, taking place before and after the events of that film.[7] It was originally made in both Telugu and Tamil and dubbed into Hindi, Malayalam, German, French, Japanese and English.[8] The film stars major actors from Tollywood industry with Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj in lead roles. Initially, both parts were jointly produced on a budget of ₹250 crore (₹2.5 billion),[9][4] however, the budget of the second part was increased later. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has made a record of highest pre-release business with ₹500 crore (₹5 billion).[10] Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was premiered at the British Film Institute,[11][12] and was theatrically released over 9000 screens worldwide on 28 April 2017.[13][1] Baahubali 2 was the first Telugu film to be released in 4K High Definition format. It is estimated that close to 200 screens are being upgraded to 4K projectors before the release date of the movie.[14] Baahubali 2 released to positive reviews from critics and surpassed the 2014 Hindi film PK, to briefly become the highest grossing Indian film of all time, collecting approximately ₹800 crore (US$120 million) worldwide within just six days of its release.[15] It became the first ever Indian film to gross over ₹1,000 crore (US$160 million) in all languages, doing so in just ten days.[16][17][18]

2016 Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Produced by Walt Disney PicturesAamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures, it stars Aamir Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat, an amateur wrestler, who trains his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumarito be world-class wrestlers, both of who go on to win medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.[6] Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra play the older selves of the sisters while Sakshi Tanwar play their mother and Aparshakti Khurana, their cousin.
The development of the film began in early 2013 when Tiwari began writing the screenplay before signing Khan for the film. Set primarily in the Indian State of Haryana, principal photography commenced in September 2015 in the neighbouring Punjab.[7] Satyajit Pande served as the cinematographer and Ballu Saluja as the editor. Pritamscored the film's background music and for its soundtrack, lyrics for which were written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Kripa Shankar Bishnoi, a coach with the Indian women's wrestling team, trained Khan and the cast for the wrestling sequences.[8]
After a North America premiere on 21 December 2016, Dangal was released worldwide on 23 December opening to positive response with critics; praise centered on the film's "honest" depiction of a real-life story and Khan's performance. It was also screened at the Beijing International Film Festival in April 2017. At the 64th National Film Awards, Zaira Wasim won Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Geeta's younger self. At the 62nd Filmfare Awards, it won four awards: Best FilmBest Director(Tiwari), Best Actor (Khan) and Best Action (Shyam).[9] The film performed equally well commercially and as of 29 May, it stands as the highest-grossing Indian film having collected over 1,800 crore,[10] of which more than 1,000 crore was earned in China,[11] where it has emerged as one of the top 20 highest-grossers of all time.[12]
